Biography

I grew up in a small mountain town in southwest Virginia, which I affectionately call "Puny Bueny". I met a boy, fell in love, and married him six years later. I am an attorney. I'd rather be a teacher or an artist. Proud mommy to a lovely llewellin and a sassy calico, I aspire to live a small and simple life, with big dreams that might come true. I communicate through food. I love the color purple, soft yarns and making beautiful things. I named my kayak Zephyr, and hope to one day confidently call myself a paddler. My favorite word is "frick", and I use it often. I always dance like nobody's watching.

knitting, wine, pottery, new music, landscaping, hiking, reading, kayaking, beer, our puppers (her name is river ridge), and stained glass art., cooking incredible food, amazing cheese, blue grass mandolin, playing the guitar & blogging. i aspire to become more proficient at photography
