Paper, Anyone?
I simply cannot get enough of the Office. Hubster has been really into it for a while. He would watch episodes on his computer, and I could hear him laughing from all the way downstairs. Then, at random times during the day he would start to giggle. When I asked him what was so funny, he would almost always reply, "I'm just thinking about the last episode I watched of the Office." Once though, he said, "I farted."
There's nothing better than something that makes you laugh, right? I gave him all 3 seasons on DVD for our anniversary. Now I feel kinda guilty about it, because I'm definitely enjoying it as much or more than he is. In the last few weeks we've gone through the first two seasons, now we're mid-way through the third. I'm going to be so bummed when it's over...we gotta wait until next year--next YEAR to find out what happens with Pam and Jim?!?!?!?! *sigh*
In other news, I begin my weight lifting regime today. HOOWAH! When I first told Dad that we purchased a Bowflex, and its home was going to be behind the couch in the living room, he replied, "Ugh, that doesn't sound good at all--the living room isn't a convenient place to hang your clothes!"
My parents' Nordic Track went through periods of sporadic use throughout my adolescence--most notably as a place to hang ironed laundry before it went upstairs into our closets. Of course, sometimes it did get a fair amount of use. Very intense use. It is incredibly unfortunate that I may never be able to erase the image of my Dad, sweating his ass off with a ratty bandanna wrapped around his head, flailing those spindly arm cords while Chet Atkins blasted away on his old record player in the unfinished portion of our basement. Now that is inconvenient.
Will also be starting up with WW online again this weekend. *sigh*. I love WW, but I have gotten pretty lazy about it. We stopped using our online daily points counters to save money, but now there isn't any more excuse. "CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" It'll be good, though. Bikini season is here, and it's time to not feel like a blob encased in straps. I just hope it won't be too hard to give up the things I have come to love in these last few months of nutritional apathy...like full-flavored apple juice (3 points a bottle), reduced fat sour cream and cream cheese instead of fat free, and regular spaghetti as opposed to whole wheat...*sigh*
It's a *sighing* kind of day...

I flipping love The Office, too, and I *heart* Steve Carrell. He was recently on SNL and I think y'all might enjoy this:
