Garden Bounty

Salmaan and River and I went home this weekend and visited my folks. I have lots and lots to share about the weekend (including an awesome kayaking trip, and a visit to the LYS and winery), but for now, check out the amazing garden bounty that we get to enjoy this week--all out of my Dad's garden.

Here we have some cucumbers, various heirloom and hybrid tomatoes, peppers, squash, and zucchini.

More squash, zucchini, and some green beans, along with some home grown jalapenos.

RHUBARB! This batch will most surely be going on a double date tomorrow night with Strawberry and Sugar....

And last but not least, some cute cherry tomatoes to round out some side salads.

I can't wait to share the recipes for the meals we're going to make this week...until then, happy Sunday.

No joke: every time I see rhubarb -- doesn't matter where or when -- I think of your dad's rhubarb pie. I haven't had a rhubarb pie that tasty since, and I'm starting to wonder if I ever will!
