This is another project that has been done for a while, just took a while to get around to photographing it. I neglected to note my cast-on date on my Rav page, but suffice it to say that this scarf has been a part of my knitting life for almost two years. ;-)
I have found that I am a knitter that MUST have a go-to garter project on the needles at all times. Of course, there's always the Squares of Love blanket that might not ever be completed....ever....but this was my main one for a while.
The yarn is handspun merino purchased from Under the Plum on etsy, long before I even began to conceive of spinning my own yarn. Great yarn, consistently spun and plied (now I know these things ;-) and very soft and stretchy. Knit on #5 straight needles. A good little neck scarf for those days when you need just a little something extra.
My Dad named the project. I no longer wonder why almost everything for me is somehow food-related.
;-)

This is such a fantastic FO, Laura. Stunning in its simplicity, and it shows off the yarn like a rockstar. Gorgeous.
